Good Afternoon! I have another card for you today from my ‘Ways to Use – Embossing Folders’ class. Today’s card uses the Stamped Emboss Technique ..
I love this technique and I love how you get a different look every time!
Technique Quick Steps ..
- Choose an Embossing Folder that will work with a ‘background’ like Woodland.
- Stamp image onto the side with the raised background – usually the side with the Sizzix logo on it.
- Place cardstock onto unstamped side of folder and close. Run through Big Shot once or twice to ensure a good transfer of the stamped image/s.
For my background on this card I simply stamped the tree canopy stamp from Sheltering Tree on my folder using Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum.
I loved the look so much I did it in a landscape card as well …
You dont want to cover up all the work you’ve just done so a small simply sentiment is perfect for this card.
